ABOUT THE PALM JOURNAL

We at the PSSC are proud of our publication, the Palm Journal. We believe that it's one of the best publications by a non-profit garden society in the world.

We have full-color pictures on every page, along with informative articles relating to palm growing in Southern California, as well as other places.

Our Palm Journal's articles are written by members, non-members, anyone who can write about palms. They include gardeners, landscapers, crazed palm fanatics, happy hobbyists.

Best of all, some of the articles are written by world-renowned palm botanists, including Dr. John Dransfield, Ron Hodel and others. These materials are not available online anywhere.

Palm Journal articles talk about all aspects of palm growing, where (and where not) to plant them, soil preparation, diseases, insects, raising from seed, transplanting, and, pure rapturous love.
