Our Members
It's always nice to pursue a passion. But doing that all by yourself gets a bit lonely after a while. If it's information you want, you already know all you have to do is go on the web and look up information.
Common Interests
We in the PSSC believe it's much better to be able to get together and hang out with those of like mind, on a formal and informal basis. Sharing makes the joy of one's passion so much greater.

Membership
Membership in the PSSC is open to anyone who wants to be a member. We don't care about anything except that you love palms and want to be a member.
The PSSC has been in existence since the early 1950s. Some of our members have been members for much of a long lifetime, and friends with other members for that long.

Where are our Members From?
The majority of the PSSC's members live in the southernmost counties of California: Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego. But we also have members in central and northern California, as well as Hawaii, Florida, and Texas (and other states) in the United States. We also have members in the rest of the world, including South Africa, Australia, England, and France.

Member Opportunities
Another benefit of PSSC membership is the chance to serve on the Board of Directors. All positions are volunteer, but there are many opportunities, including assisting with the conduct of meetings, recruiting new members, acting as webmaster, and assisting in the layout of the Palm Journal.
All members of the PSSC are welcome to join the Board.
