Proceed to the visitor center, where we (the PSSC) will have a table set up to check you in. After you have received your entry ticket at the PSSC table, please proceed to the Head House (in the nursery) for additional informatio regarding the day’s events. There will be a PSSC member at the Head House to give you further instructions. If you have any questions once you reach the visitor center, please call Larry Black at (714)842-2311. The Huntington Botanical Gardens are a continually changing array of color and plant life covering 120 acres. There are more than a dozen specialized gardens located on the grounds, all arranged in

their own unique landscaping. Palms can be found throughout the gardens, including the Subtropical and Palm Garden. There are several other gardens of interest on the grounds including the Desert, Japanese, Rose, and Chinese Gardens as well as one of the largest camellia collections in the country.

Lunch will be on your own. There are four locations at The Huntington – the new café, a coffee shop with snacks, the Chinese Garden Tea House, and the Rose Garden Tea Room. Please keep in mind that picnicking is not allowed in the Gardens.

There will be a plant auction at 1:30 in the Head House located at the Nursery. We will provide maps at the check-in table.

Directions: The Huntington is located just south of the 210 Freeway. From either the east or west, exit Sierra Madre Bl. and head south. Then turn right on California Bl. Next, turn left on Allen Ave. and proceed two blocks to The Huntington’s Allen gate.

Hope to see you there. It is sure to be an exciting, informative and educational experience for those in attendance.
